Boxshot

Every product needs some type of packaging, preferably something appealing that will catch the customer’s eye. Boxshot is available for 32 and 64-bit Windows editions; anything from Windows XP up to Windows 8. Download an installer, run it, click through the setup wizard’s instructions. That is what you have to do to get Boxshot up and running on a PC.
It must be added here that Boxshot is also available for Apple’s Mac OS X; anything from OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard up to OS X 10.9 Mavericks.

The 3D mockup you’re working on is presented front and center on the application’s interface. To the left there’s a panel that displays the following: scene tree, shapes, materials, scene properties, and camera. At the top, in the upper left hand corner, there’s a traditional File Menu. So overall, it is a simple layout that you will quickly figure out.
